Our Many Mini Adventures {3}

The boys and I are going strong with our mini adventures!  Last week we went on a little "field trip" with some friends to visit one of my bestest (I know that's not a word :) friends.  She is a teacher and it was really fun for the boys to see a real.life.classroom!!  We also went out to ice cream which is always a fun treat...and an adventure ;)

The boys had dentist appointments last week too.  It went much better than I thought.  So we celebrated afterward by going to In-N-Out!  The boys love going there and the nearest one is 45 minutes away so that's where they want to go when they get the chance.  That or Chipotle!

And last but not least...we went to the library!!!  It was our first time going, if you can believe it!  I grew up going to the library a lot, but for some reason I just hadn't taken the boys.  Don't worry, they have a lot of books at home.  The library was actually having a book sale when we went and we were able to get 15 books for $ .10 each!  Score!!  I found the Little House on the Prairie box set (missing one book, I think) for $ .80.  I think it will be a fun series to read to the boys a little bit each night for bedtime.

All in all, we had a great week getting out of the house and wandering around together!  I look forward to more adventures with my little guys this week....

P.S.  Find out a little bit more about me here.  And there's a giveaway involved :)

Happy Monday Everyone!!!

I grew up reading the Little House books, I look forward to reading them to my kids when they get older.

Your adventures sound so fun and I would agree that Chipotle or In-N-Out always interest me. Oh how I miss that In-n-Out

Love the last picture. Also, I might snag the Little House books next time I'm there. That is a GREAT find! We have been listening to them on audiobooks anytime we're in the car. The girls are really enjoying them. And I plan on reading the first two to them this school year. Love ya!

"Bestest" is totally a word! I love that you came to visit me on your adventure! Such a wonderful, appreciated surprise! You're welcome to visit anytime! Also, let me know which Little House book you're missing...I have a few random ones in my classroom library and if I have the one you need, you can have it! I think my full set is in my old closet at my parents' house...I'm saving it for future children!
