I'm new to photography and I still feel like I'm finding my niche. I know that {some} have strong opinions about the editing of photos... Typically I feel that less editing is more. I do like a sepia-ish look sometimes, but I usually just sharpen my photos a bit. All this to say, I took this yesterday and did a little more editing than usual. I kind of like the way it turned out...
Part of me wanted to take the giant weed out of the way, and part of me likes it.

A lovely and unique shot.
the colours are great. a bit of editing is fun, and sometimes it can turn an average shot into a good one. win win! but I agree with you, there's nothing more satisfying than a shot that looks best straight out of the camera.
really nice :) I like that weed :)
and like the way you edited this one :)
Your approach to editing is very much like mine. I haven't kept/posted any "extreme" edits yet but like to play for the fun of it sometimes like you did here.
I love this!
the colors are perfect-i love it! and i love your blog.
Less is better...for me anyhow.
GREAT shot.
Hope you have a blessed day!
Love tbhis shot. So remote.
I am not part of the {some.} I think editing is simply another form of art! Some might be able to just take a perfect shot -- which is an amazing talent. But another talent is to take an okay or ordinary shot and edit it into "art!" You made this old barn shot look lovely! :)
