My mom has so many patterns and a lot of them are for little girls, so I took that pattern that I posted about the other day and I modified it into a shirt for me!! I think it turned out ok...and by ok I mean I want to make some changes to the design, but it's wearable :) With each thing I sew, I'm definitely feeling more confident. I actually sewed the whole shirt without my mom even being there!! She just gave me verbal directions (and then wrote them down in case I forgot) and I did it ALL BY MYSELF.
I'm linking up again with Gussy Sews Inspiration Workshop. And this week the prompt was: Your Inspiration. So, the prompt I chose for this week is Sewing. Oh yes, surprise surprise...since I am doing this challenge right now! But really, this sewing challenge has been stretching me and inspiring me and encouraging me to be more creative. I really didn't think I had it in me, but I do. I DO!!! I'm excited that even when my projects don't turn out exactly the way I had hoped, I'm still wanting to get in there and sew again.
If there's something that you've been wanting to try, I encourage you to jump in and DO IT!! If you are anything like me, you have all kinds of "silly"

That is awesome! Good luck with your sewing challenge; sounds fun! :-)
The shirt turned out soooo cute and I am really excited to have found your blog through the Gussy Sews linkup! Can't wait to see what else you stitch up in the next year!
I think it came out beautifully, I wish I knew how to sew!
Thanks for the kind words ladies :)
Jami- Believe me, if I can do it...anyone can!! This is only the third thing I've sewn all.by.myself!
I love this on you. My body type it probably wouldn't look half as nice, and congrats on doing it all on your own. My hubby bought me a sewing machine for christmas and I've only been doing refashions because I am not that skilled or brave yet.
I found you through MaieDae
