I'm sure you have all already heard of the MOB Society (or Moms Of Boys) blog, but just in case someone hasn't I wanted to share it with you. While I absolutely love being a mom to boys, I sometimes feel unsure of how to handle certain situations because I can't always relate to them completely...and they are only 2 & 4, so I'm sure I will run into situations like this more and more as they get older. I love how the MOB Society's blog states that they are "Reaching the hearts of boys for the Gospel & preparing a generation of men to love the Lord." As parents we have such a huge responsibility to teach our children and to train them up in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6), and as a mom of boys I desire so deeply for my boys to be men of integrity and purity and honor.... I am grateful that I'm not on that road alone. I'm thankful that I have an amazing husband by my side and most importantly that the Lord is in control of our lives. I pray that I can, that we can, always direct them to the Lord...! The MOB Society is a wonderful resource and encouragement for moms of boys. You should check them out if you haven't already :) This is a post I read there recently that really spoke to me: Do You See The Warrior?
I am after-all a girl outnumbered by boys!

After I wrote this, I realized the MOB Society has a new link-up called "Let's hear it for the boys"! I really did not know that when I titled this post!!

Oooh, how fun! Just today I was wondering how I can explain to my 5-year-old son that it's truly not appropriate to scratch his tushie at school. I bet that's covered at the m.o.b. site. Thank you. Love YOUR site as well...great post!
I think you will be even better able relate to your boys if you jump in mud puddles with them. SO, the next time we get a good rain, I'll bring my extra pair of rubber boots over ;)
