It's almost time for 525,600 Minutes Stitches (the challenge) to begin!! I'm excited to start sewing and to learn A LOT! I look forward to sharing my trials and triumphs with you and I hope to inspire you to sew too.
Here's a sneak peak.... The shirt that started it all! I should be finishing up this cute little shirt in the next day or so, but since my "year" doesn't officially start until June 12th, it isn't part of the challenge. I decided to start sewing something a few weeks ago and see if I felt like I could keep this up for a whole year. Testing the waters, if you will :)
And yes, it has taken me a couple weeks to finish this shirt because, well, life happens!! Once the challenge starts though I hope to be allotting MUCH more time to my sewing projects. Although throughout the year, I'm sure there will be times where I can sew a lot and times when I can't.
The fact of the matter is there are some things more important than sewing!! Like these guys, for instance...
